About the Event

🏔️ Estrela Grande Trail 2026

Experience the unique adventure of Serra da Estrela with the Estrela Grande Trail, a mountain trail running event challenging athletes across various distances, promoting nature, solidarity, and community spirit.

Organized by Estrela Outdoor Events in partnership with the Municipality of Manteigas, this event takes place from May 8 to 10, 2026, offering races for all levels, from short distances to demanding ultra trails.

The routes cross the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, featuring technical trails, mountain zones, and stunning landscapes. Start and finish are in Manteigas, with solid and liquid aid stations along the way. The event is semi-self-sufficient, requiring athletes to carry their own cup and mandatory gear.
