The Trail and Walk Encostas do Tâmega returns to Abragão, Penafiel, on May 24, 2026, for its second edition! Organized by Rodativa with support from the Penafiel City Council and local partners, this event combines sport, nature, and community for an unforgettable experience.

This event offers two competitive trail running races and a walk open to all, following the stunning trails of the Tâmega River slope, starting and finishing at the Abragão Sports Pavilion. The routes include paths, trails, forest roads, and riverbanks, providing close contact with nature and unique landscapes.

The race is semi-self-supported, with two aid stations (midway and finish). The organization ensures precise course marking and chip timing, guaranteeing safety and fair play.

• 09:00 — Long Trail start

• 10:45 — Expected arrival of first athletes
• 12:30 — Awards ceremony
• 14:00 — Event closes

🎽 Registration includes Sports insurance, bib with chip (trail), solid and liquid refreshments, participation medal, showers at the pavilion, promotional gifts, medical assistance, and transport for withdrawals.

🏆 Awards Finisher medals for all finishers, trophies for top 3 overall, prize for the largest team (min. 10 participants).
