The iconic Corrida de Santiago de Subarrifana celebrates its 42nd edition on June 7, 2026, organized by CSRDC Santiago de Subarrifana with support from the Penafiel City Council and local entities. This event is a local athletics celebration featuring races for all ages and a solidarity walk, promoting sport and community support.

The main 10 km race takes place on an urban circuit with start and finish at Av. General Humberto Delgado in Santiago de Subarrifana, Penafiel. The course consists of two 5 km laps passing through notable streets, with strategic hydration points to ensure athlete comfort.

The 5 km solidarity walk is open to all ages and non-competitive, with part of the proceeds donated to the Penafiel Volunteer Firefighters.

🎽 Registration includes Bib, sports insurance, electronic chip for 10 km race, hydration, technical t-shirt (for registrations until 18/05), finisher gift (for registrations until 18/05).

🏆 Prizes Monetary prizes for top 10 individual finishers in the 10 km race by category and gender, team prizes, trophies for best teams, and prize for largest team.

🏅 Solidarity event Part of the walk registration fees will be donated to Penafiel Volunteer Firefighters.
