🏃 SC BRAGA - Run Gverreiros 2026

The Run Gverreiros 2026 is a running event organized by SC Braga, supported by Braga City Council and the Braga Athletics Association. This first edition takes place on May 31, 2026, at the Braga Municipal Stadium, offering a sporting experience for all ages and fitness levels.

The event features several races: the 10 km Run Gverreiros for adults, the 5 km Gverreiros Walk, the 2 km Youth Gverreiros Run for participants born between 2009 and 2012, and the 750 m Mini Gverreiros Run for children in two age groups. All races start near the ticket office of Braga Municipal Stadium and finish on the stadium's pitch.

The courses are urban, with liquid and solid refreshment points. The 10 km Run Gverreiros is officially timed with final classification. The walk is a non-timed, recreational event. The organization requires all participants to wear the official event t-shirt and limits participation to 5000 athletes.

  • Until 11:30 – Course closure
  • Award ceremony after the races

🎽 Registration includes Bib number, mandatory official t-shirt, sports insurance, liquid and solid refreshments, timing (except walk), and medical support during the event.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for the top 3 overall male and female finishers in the 10 km Run Gverreiros. Prizes for the top 3 in Youth and Mini Gverreiros races by age category. No monetary prizes.
