Discover the thrill of the half marathon "Os 21 do Camiño," a unique race blending the history of the Camino de Santiago with a spectacular sporting challenge between Palas de Rei and Melide.

Organized by Asociación Deportiva Cerne, this 2026 edition takes place on June 20th and offers an unparalleled experience for runners over 18 years old, with a course combining dirt and asphalt, mostly along the iconic Camino de Santiago, a World Heritage site.

The route starts at the town hall square in Palas de Rei, loops through the town, then follows the Camino to Melide, covering 21.097 km. The race is semi-urban and semi-rural, with liquid and solid refreshment points strategically placed and an environmental commitment to keep the course clean.

⏰ Schedule

• June 19: Bib pickup in Melide from 18:00 to 21:00
• June 20: Bib pickup in Palas de Rei from 11:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 18:00
• June 20 18:30: Race start
• 21:30: Max time for Os 21 do Camiño
• 19:30: Max time for Os 6 do Camiño

🎽 Registration includes Electronic chip bib, runner's bag with gifts and instructions, liquid and solid refreshments, backpack transport service, cloakroom, showers, and sports insurance.

🏆 Prizes

• Cash prizes for the top 5 male and female overall finishers in the half marathon (500€ 1st, 300€ 2nd, 200€ 3rd, 150€ 4th, 100€ 5th).
• Special 200€ prize for breaking the race record (1h08m14s men, 1h18m44s women).
• Trophies for age categories and local runners.
• Product prizes for the timed climb between km 11 and 12.6.
