🏃 Ponle Freno Vigo 2026 - Run for a charitable cause in the vibrant city of Vigo!
The Ponle Freno Vigo 2026 race, organized by Last Lap SL from the ATRESMEDIA group with the collaboration of the Vigo City Council and sponsored by Fundación AXA, is a sporting event with a social cause. All registration fees go to projects supporting victims of traffic accidents, making this race a meaningful sporting experience.
The event takes place on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM in Vigo, Pontevedra. It features 5 km and 10 km circuits for adults and children's races with age-appropriate distances.
Course details will be announced on official channels, but the route is expected to be urban, accessible, and safe. Maximum completion times are 45 minutes for 5 km and 1 hour 15 minutes for 10 km. Participants should have adequate fitness and follow race rules.
🎽 Registration includes bib, chip, sports insurance, and commemorative t-shirt for adults (not included for children).
🏅 Awards for the top three male and female overall finishers.
🚴♂️ There is also a HandBike category for physically disabled participants in the 10 km distance, non-competitive.
