Get ready for a unique experience in the Basque nature! On May 3, 2026, Segura hosts the ninth edition of this demanding mountain race combining challenge, scenery, and solidarity.

Organized by Segura Zerain Mendi Lasterketa, the race takes place through the mountains of Segura and Zerain, with two distances to suit all runners: a long trail of 25 km with 1700 m positive elevation gain and a sprint of 14.5 km with 880 m elevation gain. Additionally, one euro from each registration will be donated to the association “Minbiziaren aurka Gipuzkoan,” supporting cancer research.

The start and finish are located at Segura’s main square, with a route crossing mountain trails, forests, and natural landscapes, offering a spectacular and demanding environment. The race is semi-self-sufficient, so each runner must bring their own container for liquid aid stations, which will be provided without disposable cups.

  • 08:00 to 09:30 – Bib and runner bag pickup at Segura square
  • 09:30 – Long Trail start
  • 10:00 – Sprint start
  • 13:30 – Awards ceremony
