ποΈ AXARI TRAIL 2026
AXARI TRAIL 2026 is a memorial race honoring athlete Mikel Garmendia, who passed away in an accident in 2008. The race takes place between the Aralar and Aizkorri-Aratz natural parks in the mountains of Idiazabal, offering stunning natural views.
This event is designed for trail running and traditional sports enthusiasts, also providing a great chance to discover the small town of Idiazabal, famous for its cheese.
The course runs through trails and natural paths between the parks, starting and finishing in Idiazabal. The race is semi-self-sufficient, with participants advised to carry their own water containers.
