🚴 2nd SaCanas MTB Ride 2026

The 2nd SaCanas MTB Ride is a fun event organized by the Grémio Desportivo e Cultural do Mondego e do Dão with the SaCanas Bike Team, taking place on September 6, 2026, in Canas de Senhorim. This mountain bike ride is open to all MTB enthusiasts aged 10 and above, offering a unique experience through trails and rural roads in the municipalities of Nelas and Carregal do Sal.

The start is at 09:00 on Av. Eng.º Dionísio Augusto Cunha, next to the Canas de Senhorim Parish Hall. The route includes two options: the main 50 km trail with medium difficulty and a 20 km mini MTB trail with low difficulty. The event is non-competitive, with no timing, and features signage and organizational support along the way.

⏰ Schedule Sunday, September 6, 2026:

• 07:15 – 08:45 — Registration and kit pickup (Parish Hall)
• 09:00 — Start MTB 50km and 20km
• 09:10 — Start Walking 10km
• After the event — Social lunch (optional, cost €5)

🎽 Registration includes For MTB: event participation, bib, personal accident insurance, finisher medal, refreshments, hot shower, bike wash, and gifts. For walking: participation, insurance, refreshments, gifts, hot shower, and lunch (if purchased).

🏆 Prizes All participants receive a finisher medal. The event is non-competitive with no ranking prizes.
