39th Oeiras Triathlon

🚴‍♂️ 39th Oeiras Triathlon 2026

The 39th Oeiras Triathlon is an unmissable event organized by the Portuguese Triathlon Federation with support from the Oeiras City Council. This edition features the National Sprint Triathlon Championships for Elites, Juniors, Cadets, Age Groups, Paratriathlon, and an Open Race, all held on May 10, 2026.

The races take place in Oeiras, with swimming at Praia da Torre, cycling along the coastal road with an out-and-back route, and running also along the coastal road. The start is at Praia da Torre and the finish near the Military College's Feitoria. The event provides solid and liquid refreshments, insurance, and professional support for federated and non-federated athletes.

🏔️ Races

• National Championships Elites, Juniors, Cadets, Age Groups, and Paratriathlon – Sprint • Swim: 750 m (1 lap) • Bike: 20-21 km (1-2 laps depending on category) • Run: 5 km (2 laps)
• Open Race – Super-Sprint • Swim: 300 m (1 lap) • Bike: 9.5 km (1 lap) • Run: 2.5 km (1 lap)

⏰ Schedule

• 06:30–10:00 – Registration near Transition Area
• 06:30–08:00 – Check-in and technical verification
• 08:15 – Transition Area closes for athletes
• 08:30–14:00 – Start of races by category
• 15:00 – Check-out and equipment collection
• 15:30 – Awards ceremony

🎽 Registration includes Participation and classification, solid and liquid refreshments, personal accident insurance.

🏆 Prizes Individual trophies for top 3 in all categories and age groups. Monetary prizes for top 10 men and women in Elite race, totaling €5770.
