Discover the legendary Zegama-Aizkorri Mountain Marathon, an epic trail running challenge crossing the slopes of the Aizkorri mountain range in Gipuzkoa, Spain. Organized by Zegama Aizkorri Mendi Maratoia, this is the 25th edition of a race included in the Golden Trail World Series 2026.
Starting and finishing in the town of Zegama, the 42.195 km course features a total elevation gain of 5,472 meters, offering exceptional natural beauty and a unique experience for trail lovers.
The race has 13 mandatory checkpoints and 13 energy supply stations along the route, ensuring safety and support for athletes. The maximum time to finish is 8 hours, with strict cutoffs at various points.
