Experience the thrill of swimming in the beautiful Txingudi Bay, organized by C.D.N. Bidasoa XXI celebrating its 20th edition on August 2, 2026, in Hondarribia, Spain. This iconic event brings swimmers of all ages together to challenge open waters in a stunning natural setting.

The race takes place along the Hondarribia coast with separate starts for the children, popular, and absolute categories. The children’s and popular races start from the beach closest to the Bidasoa river, covering 700 meters, while the absolute race starts from Butrón Promenade with a 2,600-meter course. Swimmers must keep the buoys to their left, with the last buoy on the right.

• Absolute Race – 2,600 m · Start 11:30 · Cutoff 1h30 (max time allowed)

⏰ Schedule

• 10:30 – Children’s race start (Hondarribia beach)
• 11:00 – Popular race start (same course as children’s)
• 11:30 – Absolute race start (beach near Kai-Zahar Pier, Butrón Promenade)
• 13:00 (approx.) – Awards ceremony at the Seafront near Club Tintin
