Join us for one of the most prestigious mountain bike events in northern Portugal! The XVI Raid BTT SodiGás – Margens do Cávado offers an active morning for amateurs, professionals, and families who want to enjoy nature and camaraderie.

Organized by Trilhos do Cávado - Associação Desportiva, this event takes place on May 31, 2026, starting and finishing at Praia Fluvial de Merelim S. Paio, near Ponte Prado in Braga. The route covers forest trails and rural paths across Braga, Vila Verde, Ponte de Lima, and Barcelos, showcasing stunning landscapes from mountain tops to the banks of the Cávado River.

The event features two competitive races of approximately 45 km for BTT and Gravel bikes, plus a 25 km family-friendly ride. The medium difficulty course includes electronic chip timing and logistical support for a safe and enjoyable experience.

• After finish — Hot showers, bike wash, and socializing

🎽 Registration includes Race number, personal accident insurance, solid and liquid refreshments on course, vehicle support for withdrawals, chip timing, hot showers, bike wash, event souvenirs, and a sandwich with drink at the finish.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for top 3 in multiple categories (Elites, Masters, Gravel, E-Bikes), best team prize, and mountain prize for first rider at a designated point. Surprise prizes will also be drawn among participants.
