About the Event
π XII Race Against Pancreatic Cancer - Elche 2026
Twelve years of steps, bibs, and hope. Born in 2015 in Alicante as a small race between Muchamiel and San Juan, the Cities' Race Against Pancreatic Cancer has grown to become the largest citizen mobilization against this disease in Spain, involving different cities, runners, and, above all, resources for science. Since the first edition, 1.4 million euros have been raised to fund research projects and 19 scientific initiatives supported. In 2026, the race takes a new step: it arrives in Elche for the first time. On Sunday, June 14, Plaça de Baix becomes the start and finish point of a morning that goes far beyond sport.
The 5 km route runs through the green heart of the city β among orchards and the riverbed β to run, walk or simply be. Because every participant counts: every bib is research, every step is hope. In Spain, more than 10,000 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer annually, and 100% of the proceeds go directly to changing that reality. Welcome to Elche's story.
