Discover the wild side of Barakaldo in this 11th edition of Pulmón de Acero, an event combining international UCI C1 competition and cyclotourism in a unique natural setting.

Pulmón de Acero MTB is an XC Marathon race inviting you to pedal through the mountains that forged steel, featuring two main circuits: a 73 km Bike Marathon with 2,400 m elevation gain and a 47 km Media Marathon with 1,200 m elevation gain.

For trail running lovers, the event also offers two pure trail circuits: a 21.5 km Media Marathon with 1,013 m elevation gain and a 13.8 km Sprint Trail with 635 m elevation gain.

Routes run through technical trails and spectacular landscapes in the heart of Bizkaia, starting and finishing in Barakaldo. Organized by Pulmón de Acero with support from Barakaldo City Council and local partners.
