X Cross Popular de la Almadía

🏃‍♂️ X Cross Popular de la Almadía 2026

The X Cross Popular de la Almadía is a trail running event held on April 19, 2026, in Burgui, Navarra, organized by the Asociación Cultural de Almadieros Navarros. This popular race offers two distances for runners of different levels and ages, with a limit of 200 participants.

📍 The course runs through forest trails and tracks within Burgui municipality, starting at the Paseo de los Almadieros parking and finishing at Plaza Padre Tomás. The race is not officially certified but features clear signage and medical support.

🏔️ Variants

• 10 km – Start 11:00 · Cutoff 2h · Minimum age 16 years
• 5 km – Start 11:00 · Cutoff 1h 15min · Minimum age 14 years (with parental authorization)

⏰ Schedule

• April 18: Bib pickup from 16:30 to 18:00 (kids race)
• April 19: Bib pickup from 08:30 to 10:15
• April 19: Race start at 11:00

🎽 Registration includes bib, civil liability and accident insurance, commemorative t-shirt (size availability may vary), participation in prize draws, access to showers, and liquid and solid refreshments during and after the race.

🏆 Awards for the top three overall and category winners: absolute, veterans (45+), youth (under 18), and locals from Burgui. Special prize draw for a place to descend the river Esca on an Almadía raft on May 2, 2026.

🌿 The race takes place in a natural environment; participants are asked to respect the surroundings.
