VIII Hiking Circuit - "A Calamochos" Walking March

🚶‍♂️ Join the iconic "A Calamochos" Walking March, organized by the Federated Sports Club Calamochos Casavieja with support from Casavieja Town Hall. This route is part of the VIII Castilla y León Hiking Circuit and the 2026 Iberian Hiking League, offering a unique hiking experience in a spectacular natural setting.

This non-competitive route is approximately 16.6 km long with 1090 meters of positive and negative elevation gain, starting and finishing at the beautiful Fuente Helecha in Casavieja (Ávila). The trail passes through forest tracks, paths, and meadows with stunning views of the Tiétar Valley. Estimated duration is 6 hours and 30 minutes.

The route will not be marked, so participants must follow the organization's instructions and respect the set pace. There are no refreshment points along the way, so carrying sufficient food and drink is mandatory. A refreshment will be provided at the end to share experiences.
