VIII La Serena Solidarity Popular Race - El Llano en marcha

🏃 The iconic VIII La Serena Solidarity Popular Race - El Llano en marcha takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, in the El Llano neighborhood of Gijón. Organized by the La Serena Neighborhood Association, this charity race supports the Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Association, combining sport and solidarity in a friendly, family atmosphere.

The urban course covers an approximately 5.3 km asphalt circuit for senior, veterans, and athletes with disabilities, starting and finishing at Parque Electra - Calle Saavedra. Children’s categories run shorter circuits of about 600 meters, adapted to their ages, also starting and finishing at Parque Electra.

• Cadet Category (11 to 13 years) – 1.2 km · Start 10:50
• Senior, Veterans A, Veterans B, and Athletes with Disabilities – 5.3 km · Start 11:00

🎽 Registration includes Personalized bib, sports insurance, runner’s bag with refreshments at the finish, and entry into a prize draw from sponsors.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for the top three in each category from senior upwards, and for the absolute male and female winners. Prizes are not cumulative.
