VI Conquest of the Castle Race and Walk

🚶‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Join the VI Conquest of the Castle Race and Walk 2026 in Mejorada, Toledo on April 19th! Organized by the City Council, this 6th edition supports the Talavera Multiple Sclerosis Association, blending sport and solidarity.

The event features an urban course of approximately 5.5 km for the competitive race and 3 km for the non-competitive walk, both starting and finishing at Plaza de la Constitución. The race is chip-timed; the walk is not.

• Absolute Race – ±5.5 km · Start 11:30 · Categories from Infantil (11 years) to Veterans C (56+ years)
• Solidarity Walk – ±3 km · Start approx. 12:00 · Non-competitive

⏰ Schedule

• April 18: Bib pickup 18:30–20:00 at Mejorada City Hall
• April 19: Bib pickup until 10:30
• 11:30: Race start
• 12:00 approx.: Walk start

🏆 Prizes

• Absolute Race: top 3 M/F receive ham, cheese, and cured loin
• Categories Infantil, Cadet, Senior, Veterans and Local: trophies for top 3
• Prizes not cumulative; priority to Absolute and Local winners

🏅 Solidarity event: 50% of proceeds go to the Talavera Multiple Sclerosis Association.
