🏃‍♂️ V Popular Race El Cañaveral Madrid 2026

On October 4, 2026, the V Popular Race El Cañaveral returns to Madrid, a sporting and social event organized by ViBe El Cañaveral in collaboration with the Madrid Blood Transfusion Center. This race promotes bone marrow donation and brings together runners of all levels in a family-friendly and festive atmosphere.

The urban course runs through the main streets of El Cañaveral, mostly flat but with some hills adding excitement. Start and finish are located in the El Cañaveral neighborhood, Vicálvaro, Madrid.

• 10 KM – Start 09:00 · Urban course with hills · Categories from Senior to Veterans
• 5 KM – Start 09:25 · Ideal for beginners and recreational runners
• Kids Races (ages 2 to 11) – Approx. start 11:00 · Age-adapted distances
• Solidarity Bib – Symbolic participation without classification

🎽 Registration includes Commemorative t-shirt, chip bib, race insurance, refreshments during and after the race, free cloakroom, portable toilets, medical and ambulance service. Kids also receive a medal and gifts.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for top 3 overall in 10 KM and 5 KM, category winners trophies, medals for kids, and a ham for the club with most participants.
