π΄ββοΈ Triple Challenge 2026 in Guadalajara
The Triple Challenge competition, organized by Club Velociraptor Guadalajara with the collaboration of the Guadalajara City Council, is a unique event combining swimming, strength exercises, and running in teams of four. It takes place on May 9, 2026, at the Sonia Reyes swimming pool complex and athletics tracks in Guadalajara.
Teams in male, female, and mixed categories must complete three segments: 150 meters swimming, a strength circuit with jump rope, squats, jumping jacks, and burpees, and a 4x400 meter relay race. Transitions are carefully arranged to balance distances and facilitate the relay.
πββοΈ Water segment: 150 meters per team member in the Sonia Reyes pool. πͺ Strength segment: 100 jump ropes, 30 squats, 50 jumping jacks, and 20 burpees, performed by one member at a time. π Running segment: 4x400 meter relay with baton exchange in a designated zone.
π The competition starts at 10:00 and ends at 14:00.
π½ Registration includes bib number, insurance, refreshments at the first transition and finish, and medals for the top three teams in each category.
π Prizes for the top three teams in male, female, and mixed categories.
There is also a Sprint Relay modality for teams of three, ideal for those who have difficulty completing all segments, with adjusted distances and participation from 14 years old with authorization.
