Trail Route of the Pirates

🚵‍♂️ Trail Route of the Pirates 2026 Discover the challenge and natural beauty of Ribamar's coastline in this must-do trail running event! Suitable for all levels, with routes exploring coastal and forest trails.

Organized by the Centro Social e Cultural de Ribamar, the Trail Route of the Pirates celebrates its 2nd edition on May 17, 2026, offering four races: Long Trail (30 km), Short Trail (17 km), Mini Trail (13 km), and Walk (10 km). Start and finish at Praça de Santa Maria, Lourinhã, this event stands out for its connection to the natural environment and includes a free leisure area for children, the Pirata Fun Zone.

Courses mainly consist of forest and coastal trails, with some road sections requiring caution. The Long Trail has a 7-hour cutoff, electronic chip timing, and several control points. The organization promotes sustainability by not providing disposable cups at refreshment stations offering solids and liquids.

🎽 Registration includes Chip bib (trail), event t-shirt, buff, sports insurance, solid and liquid refreshments, post-race food, shower access, finisher medal (trail and walk), daily license fee for non-licensed athletes, organization/partner gifts.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for top 3 in each age category (male and female) in mini, short, and long trails. Prizes for top 3 overall (male and female) in each race. Finisher medals for all trail participants.
