🏔️ 6th Trail Rota do Varosa 2026

Experience a unique trail running event in the heart of the Varosa Valley with the 6th edition of Trail Rota do Varosa, combining sport, nature, and heritage, organized by Associação Vale Varosa and Tarouca Municipality.

The routes run through marked trails along rural paths, riverbanks, and mountain areas, starting and finishing at Tarouca's Civic Center.

Races are semi-self-supported, requiring athletes to manage their own food and hydration between aid stations.

• April 24: registration deadline
• May 1:
  • 08:00 – Secretariat opens (Tourism Office - Civic Center)
  • 09:30 – Long Trail start
  • 09:45 – Walk start
  • 10:00 – Medium Trail, Mini Trail and Mini Walk start
  • 12:30 – Social lunch
  • 13:00 – Awards ceremony

🎽 Registration includes Official T-shirt, bib, solid and liquid supplies, social lunch, shower, personal accident insurance, finisher prize, and timing.

🏆 Prizes Monetary prizes for top 3 overall male and female in Long Trail (€150, €100, €50) and Medium Trail (€75, €50, €20). Mini Trail awards top 3 overall M/F. Age group prizes and team awards also given.

🚶‍♂️ Walks for social and nature enjoyment, open to all.
