The 5th edition of Trail Encostas de Xira takes place on September 13, 2026, starting and finishing at the Monument to Hercules, Sobralinho, Vila Franca de Xira. Organized by Alverca Urban Runners with support from Vila Franca de Xira City Hall, this event highlights the harmonious blend of urban and natural territory, offering a challenge for athletes nationwide.

The course covers varied trails with earth, sand, and asphalt, including natural obstacles such as stones, dense vegetation, roots, and water crossings. Markings with ribbons and clear signage guide runners, with control points and refreshment stations along the route. Mandatory equipment includes visible bib, mobile phone, thermal blanket, and whistle for competitive races.

• Walk – ±10 km · Start 09:45 · 2 refreshment points · Recreational participation · Minimum age 12
