Discover the extreme adventure of the Trail Peñalara 60K, an ultra mountain endurance race in the spectacular Sierra de Guadarrama, Madrid! Organized by the Real Sociedad Española de Alpinismo Peñalara (R.S.A. Peñalara), this challenging event takes place on October 11, 2026, starting in Miraflores de la Sierra and finishing in Navacerrada.

This trail covers approximately 61 km with 5,400 m of accumulated elevation gain. It is a semi-self-sufficient race, ideal for experienced athletes seeking a high mountain challenge with stunning scenery and technical terrain.

The route passes iconic locations such as Puerto de la Morcuera, Rascafría, Puerto del Reventón, Peñalara summit, Puerto de Cotos, Guarramillas (Bola del Mundo), and La Barranca, finishing in Navacerrada. Markings are strict and mandatory, with checkpoints and compulsory GPS track use.
