Experience the thrill of trail running in the heart of the Sierra de Segura with the Santiago Pontones Trail Weekend, organized by the Ayuntamiento de Santiago de la Espada. This annual event brings together runners of all levels to enjoy spectacular scenery and a unique sporting challenge.

The courses run through mountain trails, rural paths, and protected natural areas, offering an authentic trail running experience in a stunning natural environment. The start and finish are located in Santiago de la Espada, a strategic point to explore the Sierra.

The races are self-supported, so each runner must carry their own hydration and nutrition.
