What is the event schedule?

The registration desk opens on Saturday, June 6 from 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 15:00, and on Sunday, June 7 from 07:00 to 08:45. The race starts at 09:30 and the walk at 09:45.

Registrations must be done online at www.sinctime.com until May 24, 2026, with payment via Multibanco reference.

The start and finish are at Parque Fluvial da Ponte, in Avidos parish, Vila Nova de Famalicão.

What equipment is mandatory for the TrailRunning?

It is mandatory to carry a cup or water container and a working mobile phone during the race.

About the Event

🚵‍♂️ RIBEIRA DE GEREM TRAIL EXPERIENCE 2026

The 4th edition of the AMS Ribeira de Gerem Trail Experience takes place on June 7, 2026, organized by the Associação Cultural e Recreativa de Avidos (A.Cu.R.A.). This event is part of the Vila Nova de Famalicão Trail Championship in the Short Trail category, promoting TrailRunning and a walking event for all levels.

The main race is a 15 km TrailRunning through trails, forest roads, and agricultural fields in the parish of Avidos and neighboring areas, featuring natural and artificial obstacles, offering a "wild" nature challenge. The 7 km walk, with low difficulty, covers part of the trail route, showcasing the most beautiful landscapes of the parish.

Start and finish are at Parque Fluvial da Ponte, Avidos, Vila Nova de Famalicão. The TrailRunning has a 3-hour cutoff and requires mandatory equipment such as a cup or water container and a mobile phone. The race is semi-self-sufficient, with one aid station halfway and another at the finish.
