🏃‍♂️ Ponle Freno Zaragoza 2026 - Run for a cause in the heart of Zaragoza!

The Ponle Freno Zaragoza 2026 race, organized by Last Lap SL of the ATRESMEDIA group with the collaboration of Zaragoza City Council and sponsored by Fundación AXA, is a popular and charitable event that donates all registration fees to projects supporting traffic accident victims. This race is part of the national Ponle Freno circuit and takes place on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

The urban route runs through the main streets and squares of Zaragoza city center, starting and finishing at the iconic Plaza del Pilar. The race offers two distances: 5 km and 10 km, both on a non-certified circuit entirely on asphalt. HandBike participation is allowed for physically disabled runners on the 10 km distance, non-competitive.

There are two water stations: one at kilometer 5 for 10 km runners and one at the finish for all. After the main races, three children's races take place at Plaza del Pilar with medals for all participants.
