Discover the wild beauty of Madeira Island with MIUT®, one of the world's most iconic trail running events! Organized by Clube de Montanha do Funchal, this 17th edition takes place from April 22 to 26, 2026, featuring five challenging races crossing eight municipalities of the island.

MIUT® offers a unique adventure combining stunning landscapes, technical trails, and an unparalleled ultra trail experience. From the north to the south coast, athletes run on paths, levadas, forest roads, with demanding elevation and a vibrant atmosphere.

The courses are linear and non-stop, starting at different iconic locations and all finishing at Fórum Machico square on the island's east coast. The event requires self-sufficiency and environmental respect, with strict controls and mandatory gear for safety.
