🏃 IV Solidarity Race / Walk Oion in Support of HODEILARGICLN6

Join this solidarity race and walk in Oion, an event combining sport and charity to support research on Batten syndrome (CLN6). Organized by the Oion City Council, this is the fourth edition of an accessible event for all, held on a flat and pleasant terrain.

The route runs through the streets of Oion, green areas like Arroyo Grande park, and paths among vineyards, with a very low elevation gain of only 45 meters. Start and finish are at Plaza Mayor, with showers, runner’s bag, chip bib, medical service, cloakroom, and refreshment points available.

• Kids Race – < 2 km · Start 10:15 · Up to 12 years · Circular route
• 5k Race – 5 km · Start 11:30 · From 13 years · Circular route (one lap)
• 10k Race – 10 km · Start 11:30 · From 13 years · Circular route (two laps with a detour)

⏰ Schedule

• 09:30 – Bib pickup at Plaza Mayor
• 10:00 – Walk start
• 10:15 – Kids race start
• 11:30 – 5k and 10k race start
• 13:00 – Awards ceremony at start point

🎽 Registration includes Chip bib, runner’s bag, insurance, refreshments, medical service, cloakroom, and access to showers.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for top 3 male and female finishers in 10k and 5k, plus local prizes for residents of Oyón, Labraza, or Barriobusto.

🎉 Post-race activities Enjoy a festive atmosphere with children’s activities (10:00-13:00), DJ Wateque disco (11:00-14:00), concert at 14:00, and communal meal at 14:30.
