🚀 4th Youth Aquathlon of Vila Franca de Xira 2026

The 4th Youth Aquathlon of Vila Franca de Xira takes place on April 18, 2026, organized by Alhandra Sporting Club with support from Vila Franca de Xira City Hall and the Portuguese Triathlon Federation. This is the 2nd stage of the Lisbon and Alto Alentejo Youth Championship, designed for young athletes with age-appropriate distances.

The event is held at Vila Franca de Xira Municipal Pool and adjacent areas, featuring a 50m swimming pool segment and running on asphalt and grass with some elevation. Start and finish are at the pool, with transition area on site.

🏔️ Races Benjamins – 50m swim + 400m run Infantis – 100m swim + 800m run Iniciados – 200m swim + 1,000m run Juvenis – 300m swim + 2,000m run Cadetes – 300m swim + 2,000m run

⏰ Schedule April 18 (Saturday): 12:00-13:30 – Registration near finish line 12:45-13:45 – Check-in and technical verification 14:00 – Transition area closure 14:10 – Technical meeting with coaches 14:30 – Start of races by age and gender 18:00 – Check-out and equipment collection 18:30 – Awards ceremony

🎽 Registration includes Participation and classification, solid and liquid refreshments, personal accident insurance.

🏆 Prizes Individual trophies for top 3 in each age and gender category, and team trophies for top 5 clubs.

🏅 Circuit 2nd stage of the Lisbon and Alto Alentejo Youth Championship.
