About the Event
🏃 National OCR Championship 2026 – Flavius Challenge
The National OCR Championship 2026 takes place on April 18-19, 2026 in Chaves, starting and finishing at Alameda do Trajano, next to the Municipal Swimming Pools. Organized by Flavius Challenge OCR / Wildfun, supported by the Portuguese Obstacle Course Racing Federation (FPOCR), the Portuguese Modern Pentathlon Federation, and the Municipality of Chaves.

- April 18 (start: 14:30): Short Course 3KM + Kids 1KM
- April 19 (start: 09:30): Standard Course 14KM + Open 10KM
🏅 Available Races
🔵 Short Course – 3KM (CN & Flavius Challenge – Competition)
Urban obstacle course with ~3 km and 20 obstacles. Minimum age 16. Time cap: 15 min/km (men) and 18 min/km (women).
🔴 Standard Course – 14KM (CN & Flavius Challenge – Competition)
Urban obstacle course with ~14 km and 40 obstacles, including a swim in the Tâmega River. Minimum age 16.
🟢 Open – 10KM
Timed but no official ranking. No obligation to complete obstacles. Minimum age 13 (minors must be accompanied by a registered adult).
🟡 Kids – 1KM
Special course for children aged 6–12, ~1 km with 10 low-difficulty obstacles. Limited to 100 spots. T-shirt included.

Group registrations require a minimum of 4 athletes.
🎒 Athlete Kit
Kit includes race bib, t-shirt, event backpack and partner gifts. Collected at the event. Uncollected kits are kept for 10 days after the event.
🏊 Course
The course includes natural and artificial obstacles in an urban setting. The Standard Course (14km and 10km) includes a swim obstacle in the Tâmega River — athletes who cannot swim should not attempt this obstacle.
