The Ficalho Backyard Ultra is a unique endurance race inspired by the American concept created by Lazarus Lake, famous for the legendary Barkley Marathons. Organized by Ficalho DC - Clube dos Trilhos, this race challenges athletes to complete 6.7 km loops within one hour repeatedly until only one winner remains.

The event takes place at the Vila Verde de Ficalho Sports Park, featuring a trail course approximately 6.7 km long with 75 meters of elevation gain per loop. The race starts at 08:00 on May 9, 2026, and can last several days depending on participants' endurance.

• 06:00 to 07:30 — Registration desk open
• 08:00 — First loop start
• Hourly starts until last athlete eliminated

🎽 Registration includes Personalized bib, gifts, liquid supplies from 3rd lap, solid supplies from 5th lap, first aid assistance, and sports insurance.

🏆 Prizes The winner is the last athlete to complete a loop within the 1-hour limit. If no one completes the final loop in time, there will be no winner.
