The April 25 Relay is a unique team running race celebrating history and teamwork in the Alentejo region, organized by the Municipality and Parish Council of Arraiolos. This free event takes place on the eve of the national holiday, offering an unforgettable sporting and cultural experience.

The race consists of five relay legs, starting at Largo 1º de Maio in Santana do Campo and finishing at Arraiolos Multiusos. The route crosses municipal and national roads, passing iconic local landmarks. Each team has five athletes of the same gender running relay legs, promoting teamwork and camaraderie.

⏰ Schedule April 24: 18:00-19:00 — Registration at Arraiolos Multiusos (bib and chip pickup) 18:45 — Transport to relay exchange zone 19:00 — Mini Freedom Run start (Santana do Campo) 19:15 — Relay start for female and youth categories (Arraiolos) 19:20 — Relay start for male categories (youth to veterans) After race — Buffet dinner and awards ceremony at Arraiolos Multiusos

🎽 Registration includes Bib, chip, personal accident insurance, water bottles at start, buffet dinner for all participants, access to municipal pool changing rooms.

🏆 Prizes Symbolic prizes for top 3 local teams in each category and gender, prizes for overall winning teams by category and gender, medals for Mini Freedom Run participants.
