🏃‍♂️ EPIC AZORES 2026 – The Epic Race in the Heart of the Azores!

EPIC Azores is more than a trail running race; it is an epic adventure through the wild nature of São Miguel Island, Azores. Organized by Epic Azores, this event celebrates its 11th edition, featuring routes that cross five stunning municipalities including Vila Franca do Campo, Povoação, Nordeste, Ribeira Grande, and Lagoa. Prepare to push your limits in a landscape of volcanic lakes, laurel forests, and coastal cliffs, a unique Atlantic experience.

The courses consist of ancient trails, rural paths, unpaved forest roads, and small asphalt sections, with strict signage and electronic control. The race is extremely demanding, with significant elevation gain and exposure to adverse weather conditions, requiring proper physical and mental preparation.
