Registration is open on March 27 from 17:00 to 20:00 and on March 28 from 07:30 to 10:30. Starts begin at 08:00 with the DV Trail.

Main starts are at Ponta da Galera and finish at Água de Pau Sports Complex.

What equipment is mandatory?

For DV Trail and Sprint, visible bib, mobile phone, whistle, water reservoir, and survival blanket are mandatory.

The 6th edition of Desafio Vertical 0/947 takes place on March 28, 2026, in Lagoa municipality on São Miguel island, Azores. Organized by Morcegos Trail Clube, this competitive and recreational trail running event offers a unique experience through trails and rural paths of Água de Pau and Ribeira Chã parishes. The races score for the ATRP National Trail Championship and the São Miguel Island Trail Circuit, making it a key event for trail lovers in the region.

The course runs mostly on trails and dirt roads, starting at Ponta da Galera (Caloura) for the main races and finishing at the Água de Pau Sports Complex. The event provides solid and liquid aid stations at strategic points and requires mandatory equipment for athlete safety and comfort, including mobile phone, whistle, survival blanket, and water reservoir.
