🚀 Desafio Nos Arrozais 2026

The Desafio Nos Arrozais (DNA) is a unique athletics competition inviting you to run and walk along the banks of the Antuã River, through the rice fields of Estarreja. Organized by the Associação de Moradores da Urbanização da Póvoa de Baixo, this event promotes sustainability and local culture with an ecological and challenging route.

The race takes place on dirt and fast asphalt paths, passing through Bio Ria and the Salreu interpretation center, starting and finishing at Esteiro de Estarreja near the train station. The walk offers a lighter experience suitable for all levels.

⏰ Schedule September 12: 18:00-21:00 – Kit pickup at AMUPB headquarters September 13: 08:00-09:30 – Bib pickup at race location 10:00 – Run start 10:15 – Walk start 11:45 – Time control closes 12:30 – Lunch and awards ceremony

🎽 Registration includes Bib, personal accident insurance, water and food at finish, brochure with traditional recipes, optional t-shirt, surprises, and lunch.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for top 3 in each category in the run, local products (rice, wheat flour), raffle prizes for all participants including walkers.
