The Parish Council of Fermentelos and the Fermentelos Assistance Association (AFA), in partnership with the Municipality of Águeda, organize the Cross Trail Margens da Pateira, an event combining adventure, nature, and sport for all levels. The event includes several modalities for runners and walkers, promoting connection with nature and social interaction.

The race takes place along the shores of Pateira de Fermentelos, one of Portugal's largest natural lakes, with routes crossing natural trails, rural paths, and areas of great scenic beauty. Start and finish are in Fermentelos, offering a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

Races are semi-self-supported, with refreshment points along the routes. Perfect for those seeking to challenge themselves on technical trails and enjoy a unique nature experience.
