Pink October Run

🚀 Pink October Run 2026 in Coimbra

More than a race, this is an awareness and solidarity initiative where every step and kilometer represent a commitment to prevention, health, and the fight against breast cancer.

Organized by the Portuguese League Against Cancer - Central Regional Nucleus, the 1st edition of the Pink October Run takes place on October 10, 2026, in Coimbra. This special event aims to promote prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer, uniting athletes and the community for a charitable cause.

The course is approximately 10 km through the city of Coimbra, with start and finish at the location defined by the organization. The race duration is a maximum of 2 hours, finishing at 19:00, after which vehicle traffic will be restored. The race is for participants aged 18 and over, with a limit of 2,000 entrants.

October 10 (Saturday): 10:00 - 16:00 – Athlete Kit Pickup (Forum Coimbra) 15:00 - 16:30 – Health promotion stands, awareness, children's entertainment, and food station 16:30 – Warm-up by Vivagym 17:00 – Pink October Run Start 18:30 – Awards Ceremony

🎽 Registration includes Personalized bib with chip, short-sleeve technical shirt (sizes S, M, L, XL), participation medal, goodie bag (water, fruit, cake, energy bar, and other gifts), sports insurance.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for the top 3 overall male and female finishers, top 3 in each age group, largest team, most represented faculty, and most supportive company.
