🏃 Corrida dos Viriatos 2026 in Viseu – Challenge yourself on this historic urban route!

The Corrida dos Viriatos 2026 takes place on March 15 in Viseu, organized by Infantry Regiment 14 (RI14) as part of their festive day celebrations. This urban event offers a unique running and walking experience through the city's emblematic streets, celebrating local history and promoting sport for all.

The running course consists of two laps on an urban circuit passing monuments and historic streets of Viseu, starting near the Viriato monument and finishing at the RI14 parade ground. The walk starts in the second phase of the course, from the same location as the run. The running race has a refreshment station at 6 km, and the walk is non-competitive.
