🏃‍♂️🚩 Freedom Run 2026 in Grândola

The Freedom Run is a unique sporting event celebrating freedom and community in the charming town of Grândola. Organized by the Municipality of Grândola with support from the Parish Councils of Grândola and Santa Margarida da Serra, National Republican Guard, Mixed Firefighters, and local associations, this night race offers a vibrant and supportive experience.

The urban course is approximately 3.3 km long, running through the central streets of Grândola, starting at the iconic Praça da Liberdade and finishing at the Grândola Fair and Exhibition Park. Runners must follow volunteers' directions as the route is not marked.

⏰ Schedule April 23:

• 09:00 to 19:30 — Bib pickup at José Afonso Municipal Sports Complex April 24:
• 16:00 to 19:30 — Bib pickup at Fair and Exhibition Park
• 20:00 — Race start
• 22:00 — Awards ceremony at Fair and Exhibition Park

🎽 Registration includes Bib, sports insurance, event t-shirt (guaranteed for registrations until April 19), water supply after finish, access to showers and cloakroom service.

🏆 Prizes Trophies for the top 3 male and female finishers overall and in each age group (up to 9, 10-15, 16-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61+ years).
