🚀 Bracarvs Backyard Ultra Vila Verde – 3rd Edition

The 3rd edition of Bracarvs Backyard Ultra takes place on June 6, 2026, at Praia Fluvial do Faial, Vila de Prado parish, Vila Verde municipality, Portugal. Inspired by the legendary Barkley Marathons, this unique event challenges athletes to complete 6.706 km loops every hour until only one winner remains. A test of endurance and strategy pushing physical and mental limits.

The course is a 6.706 km loop, marked with ribbons and reflective night signage, with approximately 30 meters of positive elevation gain. The route combines trails, rural paths, municipal roads, and asphalt, requiring attention to traffic rules. Start and finish are at Praia Fluvial do Faial, with liquid supplies from the 3rd lap and solid supplies from the 5th. The race is self-supported, with no poles or external aid allowed outside the rest area.
