🚴 Bairrada Ultra Marathon 2026

The 11th edition of the Bairrada Ultra Marathon takes place on May 9, 2026, in Águeda, organized by Grupo Desportivo e Cultural de Recardães with support from the Águeda City Council. This endurance race for MTB and E-Bikes offers a unique experience of personal challenge, adventure, and fun, crossing stunning trails in the heart of Bairrada.

The route is approximately 150 km long with 3,500 m of elevation gain, guided exclusively by GPS for precision, safety, and environmental respect. Start and finish are at Praça 1.º de Maio, Águeda, with the finish line closing at 21:00.

The race is semi-self-supported, allowing mutual aid among participants but prohibiting external assistance outside control and transition points. Mandatory equipment includes GPS, mobile phone, certified helmet, water container, and lights after 20:00.
