🚶‍♂️🌅 Avelar Sunset Trail 2026: run and walk at sunset in the beautiful parish of Avelar!

Organized by Avelar Sunset Team - Association, this trail running and walking event takes place on June 27, 2026. The 7th edition is part of the 2026 Ansião Municipal Trail Championship, promoting socializing, health, and well-being through nature sports.

The routes run through trails and paths in Avelar, offering a unique sunset experience. The event features four timed distances — Long Trail, Short Trail, Sprint Trail, and Kids Race — plus a non-timed walk.

• Long Trail – 25 km · Start 17:00 · Cutoff 4h · Minimum age 18
• Short Trail – 17 km · Start 17:20 · Cutoff 4h · Minimum age 16
• Sprint Trail – 12 km · Start 17:40 · Cutoff 4h · Minimum age 16
• Kids Race – various distances (see specific rules) · Start 10:00
• Walk – 8 km · Start 17:45 · Open participation, children under 12 must be accompanied
