🏔️ Aquae Brunheiro Trail Running 2026

Aquae Brunheiro Trail Running is a trail running event organized by Associação Lobos do Brunheiro de Chaves, supported by the Municipality of Chaves and the Athletics Association of Vila Real. The 3rd edition takes place on September 19-20, 2026, starting in the village of Vilar de Nantes and finishing at the Termas de Chaves, running through the trails of Serra do Brunheiro. The event is part of the ATRP National Trail Circuit, with UTMB and ITRA points, and offers races for all ages and levels.

The courses run through mountain trails with elevation gain to be announced soon, finishing at Termas de Chaves. The race is semi-self-sufficient, with solid and liquid aid stations where athletes must bring their own hydration containers. Transport to the start and support in case of withdrawal are provided.
