🚵‍♂️ Aldapegora 2026: Challenge the mountains of Elorrio!

Organized by Erdella Mendizale Taldea, Aldapegora 2026 takes place on October 24 in Elorrio, Bizkaia. This trail running event features two exciting races that are part of the Durangaldeko Kopa circuit, promising a day of intense competition and festive atmosphere in the town square.

The main 26 km race traverses the iconic mountains of Elorrio, including climbs to Memaia (675m), Besaide (555m), Udalaitz (1120m), and Intxorta (743m). The shorter 15 km race passes through Erdella and Intxorta, sharing the final stretch with the longer race to the finish line at the square.

• Long Race – 26 km · Start 09:15 · Cutoff 4h45 · Minimum age 18
• Short Race – 15 km · Start 10:00 · Cutoff 3h · Minimum age 16 (parental consent required for under 18)

⏰ Schedule

• 08:15 – Registration opens (location TBA)
• 09:15 – Long Race start (26 km)
• 10:00 – Short Race start (15 km)
• 13:30 – Awards ceremony and closing

🎽 Registration includes Personal and non-transferable bib, liability insurance, runner's bag, solid and liquid aid stations at key points, and chances for prizes and gifts.

🏆 Prizes Long Race (26 km): trophies and cash prizes for top 3 men and women (1st place €500 + txapela). Special prizes for first male and female residents of Elorrio (€100) and for the course record holder. Short Race (15 km): trophies and prizes for top 3 men and women (1st place €100). Special prizes for first male and female residents of Elorrio (€50).
