About the Event
🏃♀️ The iconic 28th Manuela Machado Half Marathon returns on 24 January 2027 in Viana do Castelo, organised by Cyclones Atlético Clube with support from the City Hall. This race honors the legendary athlete Manuela Machado and promotes sport and health in the beautiful city of Viana do Castelo.
The start and finish are at Praça Marquês Júnior, in front of the Centro Cultural. The official 21.1 km course runs through urban streets and riverfront paths including Marginal do Rio Lima, Estrada Nacional 202 and IP9, with precise timing controls and refreshment points at km 5, 10, 15 and finish. The reusable IPICO chip is mandatory.
